March 20, 2023 | West Des Moines, IA -- Palmer Group announces the promotion of President David Leto to also serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, effective January 20, 2023. This newly created position is part of its strategic growth plan as the employee-owned business continues to expand its service locations and offerings.
A 25-year veteran of the employment industry, Leto is working closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team to develop and execute growth-focused business initiatives.

I look forward to investing my time into enhancing our positive company culture, building our talent structure, and implementing a road map of long-term success for Palmer Group,” states David Leto.
Leto joined Palmer Group in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles including Search Consultant, Director, and Executive Vice President. In 2017 he was promoted to his previous position as President, succeeding founder, Austin Palmer.

Leto serves in a board position for Greater Des Moines Partnership, is a Board Member of the West Des Moines Leadership Advisory Board and Better Business Bureau of Iowa. His philanthropic passion also spans to various nonprofits including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Iowa Chapter as well as his children’s schools and family’s church.
