Mike Coulter is the Market Director of our Eastern Iowa office. He began at Palmer Group in 2019 as an Account Executive. His dedication and passion for people quickly propelled him to the role of Territory Manager, where he led his office to a record-setting year of growth in 2022, earning him a promotion to Market Director in 2023. 

As Market Director, Mike leads a dynamic team of recruiters and account executives dedicated to connecting with business leaders and candidates across the Midwest to become their premier talent and business solutions resource. 

Prior to Palmer Group, Mike spent eight years at Great America Financial Services Corporation, a national finance company, where he worked in sales, operations, and risk management. During his tenure, he consulted with technology companies nationwide on financing strategies and sales talent development. His work with mid-market and enterprise clients has given him a plethora of knowledge of the challenges many leading business owners face today. 

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Coe College and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Outside of Work
 Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and staying involved in the Cedar Rapids community.
